  1. What is a SmartHub Vyapar Prepaid Card?

    SmartHub Vyapar Prepaid card is a General Purpose Reloadable (GPR) card issued to retail merchants and small business owners. This card is bundled along with the existing Merchant Acquiring (POS) offering and can be used for all types of expenses by the Merchant.

  2. What are the usage benefits of the card?

    The SmartHub Vyapar Prepaid Card can be used to earn cashback on daily expenses like fuel, groceries, entertainment, apparel, travel, online recharge / shopping, etc.

    -  Earn 1% Cashback* on Online & Offline (pos) spends
                 a. Minimum transaction amount of ₹ 100/- 
                 b. Maximum cap for cashback is ₹ 1000/- per month per card*
     -  Voucher worth Rs. 100 on your first loading of ₹ 2500 or more
     -  5% CashBack on Utility Payment (Maximum cap of Rs. 30 per transaction. Eligible on maximum 5 transactions every month)
     -  5% cashback on expenses on PayZapp. Standard offers running on Payzapp will be applicable
     -  Additional benefits from network partners.
     -  Zero lost card liability 
     -  24/7 access to Prepaid card net banking or a customer portal

  3. Who can apply?

    Prepaid Card offered to small business owners for payments and business expenses. This card can also be applied by any retail customer who wishes to apply and avail the same.

  4. How to apply for the card?

    This card will be bundled along with the existing POS offering. Please get in touch with your Merchant RM.

  5. What are the documents required?

    SmartHub Prepaid Card digital application form along with Retail Cust ID as per records to be submitted. 

  6. What is the TAT for delivery post application?

    Personalised Card will be couriered to customer registered address and will have TAT of 7 to 10 days

  7. Can a customer, not holding a Sole Proprietorship account with the bank, Apply for SmartHub Vyapar Prepaid Card?

    No. Currently, only sole proprietorship account holders can apply for the card.


  1. Where can I use this card?

    This card can be used for all purchases on POS, online purchases and for ATM Cash withdrawals/balance enquiries.

  2. How much amount can be loaded on the card?

    The maximum Card balance can be up to ₹2 lac at any given point in time across all PPIs held with the Bank.

  3. What is the validity of the SmartHub Vyapar Prepaid Card?

    The validity of the card is 5 years from the date of issuance.

  4. How to load the SmartHub Vyapar Prepaid Card?

    Card can be loaded through following modes:

    a.  HDFC Prepaid Card Netbanking : Pls follow the below steps
     Visit HDFC Bank website >> Click on Login >> Select Prepaid>> Login with User ID & Password>> Select  Reload option>>Load value and payment details.

    b. Quick Reload portal : Pls follow the below steps
    Visit HDFC Bank website >> Personal Banking Services >> Cards >> Prepaid Cards >> Manage your  cards>> Select reload your Prepaid card>> Card reload details.

  5. Can I apply for multiple cards?

    No. Currently only one card can be applied by a Merchant.

  6. Can I withdraw cash from the ATM through SmartHub Vyapar Prepaid Card

    Yes 

  7. What is the cash withdrawal limit?

    -  One can withdraw upto ₹ 1,00,000 in a month in cash.
    -   The limit for individual transaction may vary across ATMs

  8. What are the charges for cash withdrawal?

    - For Transaction Value upto Rs. 1000 – Rs. 20 + GST
    - For Transaction Value above Rs. 1000 – 1.85% of the Transaction Value + GST


  1. How can someone check the balance on the card?

    -  Card holder can check the balance through Prepaid NetBanking under account summary tab
    -  Card holder can also check the balance on ATM (charges applicable)

  2. What are the charges for balance enquiry on ATM?

    -  Nil Charges on HDFC Bank ATM
    -  ₹ 11 + GST on other Bank ATMs

  3. What are the annual fees for the Card?

    No annual fees will be charged.

  4. What if someone loses SmartHub Vyapar Prepaid Card?

    Card should be blocked instantly by calling the customer care or through Prepaid card Netbanking portal. Replacement card will be provided on request.

  5. How to block/unblock the card?

    Customer can Block/Unblock the card by calling the customer care or through Prepaid Netbanking

  6. What is the card replacement fees for the card?

    ₹ 200+GST

  7. How to raise queries related to SmartHub Vyapar Prepaid Card?

    Customer can raise the query through HDFC Bank Customer Care.


  1. Spend/MCC codes which are not eligible for Cashback offer?

    Cashback will not be provided for below spends/categories:
    - Government Spends
    - Insurance
    - Prepaid Wallet Load/Re-load
    - Security brokers /dealers
    - Gambling
    - Manual Cash Disbursements
    - Prepaid Cards Load/Re-load

  1. By when my initial funding will be loaded into Card?

Post receiving the card delivery status as "delivered", your initial funding will be loaded into Card on T+1 day.

  1. Will initial loading amount be refunded if my Card doesn’t get delivered?

Yes, if bank doesn’t receive any delivery status for your Card, then on 20th day from card dispatch date the initial loading amount will be refunded to your source account

26. How much cashback will be credited for a customer?

Maximum Cashback for a customer in a month will be ₹1000 (for 1% Cashback on selected online and offline spends) and ₹150 (for 5% Cashback on Utility) irrespective of the number of cards he/she is holding.


Example 1:

If a customer has 3 cards and he/ she is eligible for Cashback in all the 3 cards subject to maximum cash back amounting to Rs.1000 under 1% cashback option and Rs.150 under 5% cashback option. Eligible cashback amount will be processed in respective cards as per process.

In the above Example all cards will get cash back under 1% and 5% categories

Example 2:

If a customer has 3 cards and he/ she is eligible for Cashback in all the 3 cards subject to maximum cash back amounting to Rs.1000 under 1% cashback option and Rs.150 under 5% cashback option. If the customer is achieving the cashback amount from single card, then only one card will get the cashback.

While the total cashback amount is Rs.2500 (1% cashback), Rs.1000 will be credited to one card only.

Similarly, only Rs.150 will be credit on Utility spends (5% cashback) even though the total utility cashback is Rs.200. The same will be processed within 90 working days.

27. How can I change my demographic details?

Don't worry! We're here to help you update your details quickly and easily. 

For Mobile Number / Email ID: 

  1. Log In to the Prepaid Card Netbanking Portal: 

  1. Update Your Contact Information: 

  • Click on Manage My Profile. 

  • Go to Contact Information and select Edit. 

  • Enter your new mobile number or email ID and verify the changes using the OTP sent to your registered mobile number. 


Your details will be updated instantly, and you’ll receive a confirmation via SMS on your registered mobile number. Please let us know if you need assistance at any step, and we'll be happy to help. 

For Address Update: 

  1. Submit Your Application: 

  • Visit your nearest HDFC Bank branch at a time that’s convenient for you. 

  • Submit a signed application for "Change in Address" along with a documentary proof of your new address. Please bring the original documents for verification.
