How to Manage FASTag with MyCards?

28 January, 2025

Synopsis

  • You can link your FASTag to MyCards using your registered mobile number, OTP and wallet details in a few steps.
  • Instantly top up your FASTag wallet using UPI, Net Banking, and other payment modes through MyCards.
  • Request a new FASTag if your tag is damaged or affected by windshield repairs.

FASTag is a Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) tag that allows cashless toll payments. The FASTag is linked to a wallet, which in turn, you can link to a bank account. When you drive through a toll plaza, the RFID scanners automatically scan the FASTag sticker on your vehicle’s windscreen. Next, the toll amount is deducted from your FASTag wallet. As an HDFC Bank FASTag Account holder, you can now manage your FASTag Account by conveniently logging into HDFC Bank MyCards portal using your mobile number. Here’s how.

Add FASTag To MyCards

You can access your FASTag Account via MyCards with these easy steps:

  1. Go to HDFC Bank MyCards and enter your registered mobile number.

  2. Enter the OTP received to successfully log into MyCards.

  3. Click on ‘Add’ and select ‘FASTag’.

  4. The portal will automatically retrieve the FASTag wallet linked to your HDFC Bank Account.

  5. Click on ‘Link Wallet’.

You can view your FASTag account with the masked wallet ID.

How To Manage FASTag With MyCards

MyCards provides the following services to help you better manage FASTag:

  • Monitor Your Wallet Balance

MyCards allows you to track your wallet balance at any time. Note that if you drive through a toll plaza when your FASTag balance is running low, you must pay double the toll amount.

  • View Mini Statement

You can track your transactions with the FASTag mini statement available with MyCards. You can view the toll amounts and the frequency of toll payments. You can also check for any wrongful deductions. If you find such deductions in the statement, you can file a complaint and get a refund.

  • Recharge FASTag

Your FASTag is linked to a prepaid wallet. It is recommended that you recharge FASTag at least 45 minutes before you pass through a toll. MyCards makes it easier to access your FASTag wallet and recharge it instantly via Unified Payment Interface (UPI), Net Banking, etc.

  • Replace FASTag

Daily wear and tear or broken windshields can damage the FASTag sticker. In such cases, you can request a replacement for your FASTag with the MyCards webapp. The bank typically issues a new FASTag that you can link to your old wallet.

  • View Linked Vehicle

With MyCards, you can also view the details of the vehicle linked to the FASTag wallet. You can link multiple wallets to your HDFC Bank Account.
