HDFC Bank opens branch in Shahpur, Uttar Pradesh

Lucknow, January 24, 2023: HDFC Bank has opened a branch in Shahpur in Muzaffarnagar district of Uttar Pradesh. The new branch will provide finance to sectors like MSME, agriculture, and SLI groups, and will make quality banking products and services available to local residents.

The branch was inaugurated by Dr. Sanjeev Balyan, Union Minister of State for Animal Husbandry, Fisheries and Dairying in the presence of Mr. Hitesh Poonia, CEO of Harit Pradesh Milk Producer Company Limited and Mr. Pramesh Saini, Chairman of Nagar Panchayat. Members of HDFC Bank's senior management team including Mr. Anil Khugshal, Regional Rural Head, Mr. Axay Kumar Dixit, Circle Head, Mr. Aashish Bhatia, Cluster Head, and Mr. Vikash Kumar, Cluster Head for RBG Dairy were also present on the occasion.

On this occasion, the Bank has sanctioned 100 cattle loans, 6 KGC loans, 5 SLI loans, 2 auto loans and 1 tractor loan.

Following the opening of this branch, HDFC Bank now has 9 branches in Muzaffarnagar district. In Uttar Pradesh, the Bank has 697 branches, 1,445 ATMs and 95 CDMs.
