Experience seamless and secured login to our HDFC Bank MobileBanking App by setting up 4 Digit PIN & Biometric Fingerprint/ Face ID. This ensures that your logins are safeguarded, since only you will be able to login via the added security layer thus enhancing the overall safety of your account via HDFC Bank MobileBanking App.

Fingerprint & Biometric login uses your unique fingerprint/biometric to verify your identity, adding an extra layer of security to your account. We recommend that you keep this feature enabled to ensure your account is secure, and to prevent unauthorized access.

Below are the steps to set-up Fingerprint/ Face ID & 4 Digit PIN on your HDFC Bank MobileBanking App:

Option 1: Before log-in:

1. Open your HDFC Bank MobileBanking App

2. Click on “SET UP 4 DIGIT LOGIN PIN”

3. Enter your Customer ID and mobile number

4. Enter OTP received on registered mobile number

5. Validate with your Debit Card details / Split OTP (in case you do not have an active Debit Card)

6. Set your 4 Digit Login PIN & Enable Biometric

7. Enter your 4 Digit PIN & click the toggle button to enable Fingerprint/ Face ID

Option 2: After Login

Go to Menu > Your profile > Security Centre > Manage Easy Login Method > Click the toggle button to set up ‘4 Digit Login PIN for quick access’ > Authenticate with your Debit Card Details and proceed to set your 4 Digit Login PIN & Enable Biometric

Note:

If you have not updated your mobile number with the Bank yet, we request you to please do so at your nearest branch. You will also need your active Debit card or Email ID for additional verification during registration for 4 digit log-in PIN.
