RBI directive on issuance of new Diners Club Credit Cards

As per the recent RBI advisory, we are not accepting Diners Club Credit Card applications at this time.

Dear Customers,

On 23 April 2021, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) announced that it will be restricting Diners Club India from onboarding new customers from 1 May 2021. As a result, HDFC Bank is currently unable to accept new card applications for Diners Club Credit cards.

For cards issued by banks in India, Reserve Bank of India requires payments networks to store payments transactions data within India. Diners Club is in process of complying with these regulations and is working closely with RBI to resolve the situation

If you are an existing HDFC Bank Diners Club cardholder, please continue to use your card without any concern. This directive does not impact the services offered to existing Diners Club cardholders.
