Introduction

HDFC Bank’s SmartHub Vyapar is a digital platform for simplifying business solutions and boosting business growth. It allows you to collect payments, access loans, manage transactions, access business reports, promote your business, and more.

Many merchants who have started using the app have benefitted from it in multiple ways. However, some have requested for a quicker resolution time and In-App help. HDFC Bank introduces the latest Help & Support feature on the SmartHub Vyapar platform to resolve user complaints and queries via a DIY Service module.

New Help & Support feature in SmartHub Vyapar

If you have any app-related queries, you can watch tutorials & information videos in the “Explore Now” section of the app. If you have more questions and need a resolution to your specific queries, log in to the app, tap the ‘Help and Support’ icon on the top right-hand corner, and choose the category related to your query. Select the relevant question and follow the steps prompted on the screen to proceed.

If your query is unresolved, you can log your service requests. The Help & Support service is available 24X7.

SmartHub Vyapar App has been live since Sept’21 and is catering services to around 18 lakh merchants. SmartHub Vyapar platform has delivered a bouquet of digital features viz Soundbox onboarding with Insta QR, Soundbox for existing merchants, Instant Settlement, SMS toggle, etc. This has helped to manage the scale & ease the sales/service & operational process.

Keeping this in mind, the bank aimed to replicate & adopt similar journeys for merchant services. Eariler, for any service-related concerns, a merchant had to reach out to the helpdesk via IVR, service team, MRM, branch, WhatsApp, email, etc. For resolution-related information, a merchant had to call the support desk or has to email. This required a lot of manual intervention/inbound calls, right from logging tickets at the helpdesk to closure.

The objective of introducing a dedicated section in the application was to give the merchant ease of access to address concerns via DIY content (FAQ/Videos) with predefined questions & in-app redirections to address the queries themselves and, further, an option to raise a ticket for some issues that need to be addressed by bank service teams, e.g. POS/Soundbox breakdowns, need for paper rolls, etc.

Step-by-step process to seek Help & Support on SmartHub Vyapar

If you are unable to use the SmartHub Vyapar app, Soundbox or PoS due to any reason or have concerns, you can raise your queries by following the steps mentioned below:

  1. Login to the SmartHub Vyapar app.

  2. Tap on the icon for Help and Support in the top right-hand corner.

  3. Select the category for which you need help.

  4. Choose the next option as shown on the screen.

  5. Read through the information provided.

  6. If you are not satisfied, you can log your service requests.

  7. Tap on the issue relevant to you, and press Raise an Issue at the bottom of the screen.

  8. Select the ‘Terminal ID (TID).’

  9. Select issue and issue sub-type.

Your ticket has been raised successfully. You can track its status on the app.
