HDFC Bank Opens Branch Near Hindon Air Base

Ghaziabad, April 21, 2022: HDFC Bank today announced that it has opened a branch in the vicinity of the Hindon Air Force Base in Ghaziabad.

The new branch, located at 935 & 936 Uday Singh Complex, Karhera, was today inaugurated by General Vijay Kumar Singh, Minister of State, Ministry of Road Transport and Highways of India in the presence of Shri Sushil Sharma, MLA, Sahibabad constituency, Uttar Pradesh; and HDFC Bank officials Mr Axay Kumar Dixit, Circle Head – Ghaziabad; Mr Siddharth Agarwal, Cluster Head – Ghaziabad.

Located in close proximity of the Hindon Air Force Base, the largest air base in India, this is the bank's 23rd branch in Ghaziabad district and 630th branch in the state of Uttar Pradesh. More than 55% of HDFC Bank's branches in the state are located in semi-urban and rural geographies reflecting the bank's commitment to serve unbanked and under banked regions of the state.

Commenting on the launch of the new branch near the air force base, Mr. Axay Kumar Dixit, Circle Head - Ghaziabad, HDFC Bank, said: "The new branch will ensure that air force personnel and residents living in the vicinity will have access to world class banking products and services.
